Resistance: Season 2 Premiere

We open the Resistance Season 2 premiere with the Colossus…colossally lost.

These episodes (Season 2, Episodes 1–2, “Into the Unknown” and “A Quick Salvage Run”) pick up where The Last Jedi left off and beautifully mirror many of its key dynamics. They also parse questions unique to Resistance—like, is the First Order’s evil rolly droid still alive? What's Tam's deal? And can old Imperials and former Rebels be friends?

We focus our coverage this week on the emotional interplay between our faves and the tension of these emotive episodes. We also find ourselves making connections to almost every other Star Wars work in the chronology so far.
